CLASSIC JEWELRY FROM ADLER GRIER

Jennifer Mejia

As a blogger/micro-influencer, I get offered a lot of things for free. But I pride myself in only accepting and talking about things that I truly love and recommend. So when I had the opportunity to own a piece of Adler Grier jewelry, I was beyond thrilled. I discovered their Instagram page before they knew I existed, as I had seen their jewelry on a blogger friend, Anya from Très Chic Boston, who is always on the A-list for style. Any favorite of Anya’s is typically a favorite of mine! I believe my first comment to Adler Grier was, “Your jewelry is gorgeous! I can’t believe you don't have a million followers!” I remember that because it was my first thought and stil rings true today.

When it comes to jewelry, one typically sees me in the same pieces. I like classic jewels, usually yellow gold and gemstones. And I like to get my money’s worth—when I can wear something with almost any outfit, that’s the sign of a great investment. In the photo above, I am wearing the 14k Gold-Filled 4mm Cluster Bracelet. Its design was inspired by a Van Cleef and Arpels pearl and diamond piece from the 1940s and 1950s (pictured below). That exact piece sold for $105,000 at auction in 2010! I don’t need $105K on my arm, but I do “need” my latest addition from Adler Grier. Look how beautifully it pairs with another favorite bracelet of mine from I Crave Jewels. It would be equally wonderful flying solo. And although I am wearing my adored birthstone and letter necklaces from Haverhill Collection, along with a favorite locket on my neck, I don’t look overdone and none of it is clashing. It’s all classic and anything but boring. I think it’s the perfect mix.

As you all know, my typing is limited these days. But I had to share some of my favorites from Adler Grier…favorites beyond my new bracelet. Take a look below. Remember that Mother’s Day will be here before we know it, and jewelry is always a safe bet. (Is anyone from my family reading this?) Enjoy this eye candy! For less than what many people pay for a pair of shoes, you can own a classic and timeless piece of jewelry to stay with you for the next 30 years! Best of all, you can save 15% off your purchase with code BLG15 at checkout.

VALENTINE GOODIES

Valentine’s Day, as I’ve said before, is a day of love. Period. Doesn’t matter who you love. It doesn’t need to be romantic. Love for your parents, your kids, and your friends. It’s wonderful to love yourself, celebrate that, and treat yourself. No, I didn’t do a gift guide for him because for whatever reason, I don’t think guys really care about this “holiday” as much as women do. Meaning, I don’t think they care about, want, or even expect a gift. Maybe a nice meal, whether out or home-cooked, if anything at all. So this gift guide is mainly for women. And hey, that’s easier for me because I know what I would want. And maybe if you follow this blog, you’ll want at least one thing, too. Simply click on the descriptions below to shop my favorite picks, some which I already own, so they’re guaranteed to delight. The dress I’m wearing can be found here.

Valentine's Day Gifts-4.png

Sparkly Earrings / Pearl Lariat Necklace / Pink Ribbon & Straw Tote / Set of Purple Bud Vases
LOVE & Pink Tourmaline Bracelet / Straw Clutch / Summer Fridays Overtime Mask / Thé Noir Travel Tube
Slip Pillow Case / Plush Pink Robe / Charlotte Tilbury Lipstick & Pencil Set / Aquis Hair Turban
Salad Servers/ Super Simple Cookbook / Wine Chiller / Cocktail Napkins / Dinner Napkins

I own these large sparkly studs, and I always get compliments on them. This pearl lariat reminds me of a vintage piece, and you know from my recent post how much I adore vintage jewels. My favorite every day jewels are my birthstone and letter necklaces from Haverhill Collection, and you can get her this bracelet that actually spells out how much you love her. Use code BEAUTYLOVEANDGRUB at checkout for 15% off any purchase.

Bud vases are wonderful because they don’t require a huge bouquet of flowers to brighten a space, and you can put them almost anywhere.

A woman can never have too many handbags, and this pink ribbon beauty is perfect for spring and summer, while this $12 straw clutch is, as well. Definitely buy yourself one for that price.

Most women love beauty products, so I’m sharing a few of my favorites. First, she can relax in this favorite plush robe that I personally wear, while pampering herself at home. A good hydrating mask is essential this time of year. Her hair’s texture and appearance will improve with this hair turban and pillowcase (this will help facial creases, too). When she goes out, this favorite fragrance that I wear will elevate her mood, and a great nude lipstick makes any woman feel better.

If she likes to entertain at home, she can make a simple and delicious meal out of this cookbook from my latest chef obsession, Half Baked Harvest. Keep wine cool with this chic wine cooler, and guests will feel like they’re dining at a 5- star restaurant with these beautiful embroidered scalloped cocktail napkins, botanical dinner napkins, and these modern salad servers.

You really can’t go wrong. And remember, there is not a thing wrong with treating and loving yourself.

Finally, a huge thanks to all of you for your love and following. I’m grateful for each and every one of you.

xo,
Jennifer
