EYE LOVE CADDIS

Getting older is no laughing matter. Or is it? Can we be confident and bold enough to look age in the face and say, “Take that! I’m proud and happy to be 45. I’m owning it. And I’m going to look damn good doing it.” That’s now my motto.

My friend Paul and I had a conversation one night at dinner when we both needed our readers and our phone flashlight in order to see the menu. We both agreed that this not-being-able-to-see-close-up business happened overnight. Like literally…we each woke up one morning and all of a sudden we had to hold the morning paper at a distance in order to see it clearly. Let’s hope I am disciplined enough to use the bag, as I typically toss my readers unprotected into whatever handbag I’m carrying at the time. The best part is that they feel sturdy and substantial, yet they don’t feel heavy on my face. At just $89 for the pair, you can’t beat the price.
