I have fallen into a really bad habit of coveting too many things with blue and white stripes for summer months. So while I've backed off a bit, I'm leaving this dress in the mix. I've come to like long flowy dresses, and because I'm not super tall, vertical stripes help in that area. I also like that the top of the dress is somewhat structured, so it's great if I have an event where I can't show too much skin but still want that summery look and feel.

The red espadrilles I'm wearing are 12 years old. That's not a typo. I've had them for 12 years. So needless to say, they're no longer available. But I've added an alternate option for you to consider if you like red with the dress. Of course, a neutral espadrille (flat or wedge heel) or white Hermes Oasis (or Steve Madden knock-off) flat sandal would also look fabulous.
