Over the years, I've been asked by two of my friends to become a Stella & Dot stylist. I wasn't planning on doing it. Until yesterday. They recently launched their summer line, and it is beautiful, so I was planning a blog post on it. Then I began thinking and knew I'd probably end up buying a fair amount, and they're presently having a stylist sign-on special, so I thought, "What the hey?!" Welcome to my first Online Trunk Show. I'm posting a few of my favorites from the summer line, in addition to a few classics that I think you'll wear forever and ever. That's the best kind of investment. The company prides itself on versatility, whether that's one piece being worn multiple ways or one piece looking fantastic with almost anything you put on with it. If you see something you like, the best part is that it will be on your doorstep within 3-5 business days, beautifully packaged, because Stella & Dot knows sometimes beauty just can't wait. I doubt you'd ever want to return any of these pieces, but if you do, they even make that part simple with their Delight Guarantee Return Policy. To shop, click on any of the images below for that individual item. Or shop the entire line by clicking here

As an extra bonus, there will be a GIVEAWAY of one of my favorite items for anyone who makes a purchase over the next week and through my Instagram and Facebook pages for anyone who likes/follows AND shares my Beauty, Love & Grub profile with friends on social media. So make sure you read the rules and participate for your chance to win! Now, let the fun begin!

Say "hello" to your new LBD! I used to think I was too old for eyelet, but then when I saw the Duchess of Cambridge in that swoon-worthy off-white Zimmerman eyelet dress on her trip to Australia a few years ago (yes, I remember that), I put that thinking aside. If it's good enough for royalty, then I suppose it's good enough for me. This dress could be dressed up with stilettos, worn casually with espadrilles, or perhaps even more casually with a nicer pair of flat sandals.

This year, the bigger the earrings, the better. For a few months now, I've been salivating over Nicola Bathie earrings. These remind me of her designs but at a fraction of the price. Wear them with that LBD, with a sundress of practically any color, or to add the finishing touch to denim and a sexy top on a hot summer night.

As our interior designer always says, "Black and white is always right." Enough said.

Everyone looks cooler or more sophisticated in a hat. Period. This one gives you two hats in one, although I did tell you that "black and white is always right," so you can probably guess my favorite way to wear it.

Some days you just don't feel like thinking about your outfit, and it just feels good to throw on a white shirt. This one is far better than a plain t-shirt, yet doesn't have to be as formal as a button down. I like its versatility because I envision wearing it with white denim (as pictured), denim (as pictured), denim cut-off shorts, a nice pair of trousers, a skirt, and under a blazer. Maybe I should get two? And the gold tote, well, that goes with anything. Any. Thing.

This 2-in-1 poncho is out of stock until early June. Understandable given the photos below. June, hurry up and get here!

This necklace is brilliant in that it can be worn three ways: both necklaces alone or combined. And who couldn't use a gold pendant necklace to jazz up just about any outfit?

Chandeliers. That's all.

I purchased this snazzy bag in the white and gold version. If nothing else, it's good to entertain your kids. Mine could probably spend hours creating designs in the sequins that change colors with the stroke of a finger. When your kids (or you) aren't playing with it, you can brush them all one way for a black bag or the other for a pewter bag. Perfect bag for a sexy date night! And it's large enough to hold your iPhone yet still compact and stylish.

Ladies, if your last Mother's Day gift was a home appliance, send this blog post to your husband. These two pieces from S&D's Covet Line are spectacular. They are simple and elegant and also have meaning. You can vary the length of the chains, so you could even get two (or more) of the Initial necklaces--one representing each of your children--and wear them together. Personally, I also love the pairing of the Initial and For All Time necklaces as pictured below.

Two additional and also more budget-friendly Mother's Day gift options. These engravables carry meaning and are wonderful pieces when you want to wear jewelry but don't want it to be too flashy. Simple and elegant. But I also love how pairing them with other pieces can take the look up a notch.

Over 15 years ago, I bought hoops almost exactly like this (without the hammered design) at a small boutique on Bleecker Street in my old 'hood. I still wear them today. These earrings are the perfect spin on a classic hoop. If you can purchase only one item, this one is it. They come in a smaller version, as well as rose gold and silver.

Another wonderful twist on the traditional gold hoop.

I call these two pieces the perfect travel jewelry. Or beach jewelry. When you want something timeless and versatile but you don't want to travel with your real diamonds, look no further. Your answer is here.
