THE SEXY BLACK SANDAL

If there is one thing I adore, it’s a shoe that doesn’t go out of style. And if the shoe is sexy, well, that’s even better. I really want to help my followers build a closet full of staples that you can wear again and again for years to come. I’m not a fan of spending a lot on “disposable” clothing. Of course, I won’t throw in the towel on trendy pieces because they’re so much fun, but I typically try to find those items at a steal versus a splurge. I believe in investing in pieces that are versatile. Sometimes you have to spend to get quality, but sometimes you just get lucky. (Anyone remember the $50 espadrilles that just died after I had owned them for 12 years?) I have things in my closet, mainly shoes and bags, that I’ve had for over a decade.

Today I’m rounding up my favorite choices for the sexy black sandal. Why? Because they’re a wardrobe must. They’re versatile. If you choose the right one, it won’t go out of style. You won’t regret the purchase. And for many of them, they can be worn with dresses, trousers, jeans, and for some (but not me), even shorts. My go-to pair is Stuart Weitzman’s Nudistsong in Black Patent. And to be candid, they were a splurge, but I don’ regret it one bit given how frequently I wear them.
